They say video killed the radio-star...and I guess DVD killed video in revenge?

I love your ad: "Two small tower builders are including. Room and Board is your responsibility. Disassembly is quick and easy."

Do the tower builders' arms and leg detach for overseas shipping?!

Fabulous! Any suggestions for what to do with the old cassette tapes I still have taking up room on my shelves? I used to play them in my car but I can hook up the ipod now so the cassettes are truly dinosaurs.

fairlie...."Do the tower builders' arms and leg detach for overseas shipping?!"....They do indeed, the important thing is to pay attention to the numbering system for reattachment.

stomper girl...with a little practice old cassette tapes can be thrown "boomerang style". They're big enough for good range, yet light enough not to leave lasting damage. So you get your point across with no evidence left behind.

Off Topic: Have any of you been to Australia Zoo?

Except the dots are wrong they look like they could do double duty as dominoes - OK stupid idea. One day, I will get rid of all of my videos - and since so many are for young uns perhaps the local preschool would be the best bet.
We went to Australia Zoo a couple of years ago before Steve Irwin died. We thought it was fantastic - because it is in Queensland it was lush and green. Everything including the food hall was extremely well kept and the animals looked very healthy. very friendly staff and a good show for the kids. Crikey it was good mate!

I'm going to start at the end.

Never been to Australia Zoo.

Stomper, my brother used old cassette tapes to pull the innards out of them, bundle them all together and tie them to the inside of my bedroom door. He then closed the door, and when I came home from school, told me there was a BIG spider on my bed! When I opened my bedroom door, all that tape flew out at me. Scared the living daylights out of me it did. In fact, I came the closest to passing out that I ever have in my life. No wonder I hate spiders!!

Melinda. No thanks to the tapes. Got enough junk in my house that I am trying to get rid of. You can keep the kids too, because they generate even more junk. :)

I am coming to visit Australia in the next 5 to 10 years and specifically Australia Zoo....I'll even bring Melinda with me, if she's a good girl between now and then (wink, wink;nudge, nudge;knowwhatimean, knowwhatimean). I've always been fascinated by Australia, even before my wife became cyber-friends with the most enigmatic group of bloggers from down under that the internet has ever come across. I was/am a huge fan of Steve Irwin and have really wanted to visit his zoo for a long time. So be on the lookout you never know where Melinda and I might turn up and if its like most of our trips we'll probably end up being lost. Which kinds of scares me after I saw Wolf Creek.

Yes, I have been to Australia zoo, just before Steve Irwin died. I remember watching him in the stands with his wife and little boy, as he watched Bindi do that dancing/singing thing she does.
Australia zoo is great, and very evangelical about saving wildlife (which is good, but kind of exhausting) but it is not very Aussie in it's flavour. That's my opinion.
And you get to feed the elephants, and pat koalas.
