He/She

She....

wants to show you where the balloons are: “Come on, I’ll show you.”

will take you by the hand and guide you there.

just wants you to get ONE down.

will need you to blow it up.

will NOT need you to tie it.

will remind you: “I better not see that balloon tied!”

so it can go PIFFFFFTTTTTTTTT when you hand it to her and she lets it go.

is so cute, that you’ll go along. One time, two times, three times…

He...

hates spelling words!!”

scrunches up his face and says: “AWWWWW, not spelling words, AGAIN!”

has the handwriting of a caveman.

doesn’t understand why "of" and "off" sound so different.

would rather be playing with an action figure, watching Spongebob or doing math.

doesn’t get it from me.

because I had to take Algebra.... twice.

I'm glad you found the spot to use your fabulous spelling word!

My children might be opposites to yours. Ashleigh is more comfortable with numbers than words, Pippy is a fabulous speller.

I think JT and Padawan Learner are handwriting and spelling twins who both love maths.

Maths, on the other hand is SO not my thing. Handwriting and spelling is.

Ha! I'm with you M. Give me a book and a tablet. NOT a math page or a list of postulates. J.T. is so like my dad who spells phonetically and has to write in block print so you can read it. But designed and built our home by himself.

I could just say ditto to BM Mary's comment.

I think it is one of the great wonders of the world how different every child is. The may take some aspects from each parent, but it's always combined into a totally individual little mix of its own.

I am surprised by those photos. I never really realised how much alike they are!

I can spot a speling erorr a mile away.

He/she/they are very cute!

My second child ALWAYS takes me by the hand when he wants something and leads me to it. What? Don't they trust us to come of our own volition or something?

I was okay with algebra but calculus absolutely passed me by and I still don't know what it's for. Nor do I care.
