The Crazy House (I live in)

Some of the conversations around our house this week:

Me: Abby, we cannot play the Connect Four game, because you did not listen. If you can listen and follow direction we can play it another night.

Abby: But I can't be good! I don't know how!!

Rob: Knock, knock.

J.T.: Who's there?

Rob: Cow.

J.T.: Cow who?

Rob: Cows don't say "who". They say "moo!"

Me: Abby, you left your boots behind the (freshly planted) garden. Go get them, but DO NOT walk in the garden.

Abby: (Stares longingly at the muddy rows) Okay. (Walks slowly out to red cowgirl boots. Picks them. Throws them in the garden rows.

Me: Don't. You. Dare.

Abby: (weighs odds and lifts left foot)

Me: (not repeatable in polite company).

J.T.: Mom, I can't find my shoes!!

Me: Did you look in your closet?

J.T.: Yes!

Me: (looks in closet and, ta da! There they are.)

Connect Four game in progress. Chips are Sponge Bob and Patrick.

J.T.: I'm smart. I'm Patrick.

Abby: I'm smart. I'm Patrick (holds up a Sponge Bob chip).

Oh do I feel your pain on those conversations. My 3 are so tuckered out from a busy weekend that they're lounging on the couch and sleeping in a crib. Life is quiet at the moment and I'm so happy!!! Not holding my breath as to how long it will last but for right now, it's all good.

Much love from NJ,

I think she got swapped at birth when I had my gall bladder out.

She's mine I tell ya. I don't know how to be good either.

We can live 1000s of miles apart but we are all hearing the same things.

It has just struck me that I bet Rob will be able to help me with my Lego storage problem. How should I store PL's increasingly ridiculous Lego collection by eg. colour, size? Preferably on wheels. I need Rob's cataloguing prowess.

For a large lego collection I would buy clear individual plastic bins with lids for each color and/or size lego group. For portability I would buy a metal frame three tiered rolling cart to hold said bins (usually found in the office supplies section at Target). You now have a nice organized mobile lego collection.

Oh and that will be $42.50 consulting fee. Oh wait you're in Australia, let me check my currency exchange rate.....okay that will be 2 koala bears and half a kangaroo. ;-)
