Happy Easter

Momma and Abby after the egg hunt.

Abby all dressed up in her Easter finery.

J.T. (who doesn't want his picture taken.... because ties "aren't cool").

The beginning of the chocolate bunny massacre.

And a bloomer shot. Because nothing is quite so precious as a little girl in her bloomers.

Easter Finery. Now there's an Easter tradition that's never caught hold in our house. I love it. I can't imagine what PL would do if I asked him to wear a tie...

I'm so glad you respected your son's wishes about NOT being photographed IN HIS TIE. The kids look great in the Easter finery but do not seem to be covered all over in chocolate? How is this so?

Nope. No Easter finery in this household either. Although - having seen how cute your kids look in theirs, I may have to institute the tradition.

Yeah, you tell JT I'm with him on this one.

He can take Tie refuge in my house anyday.

No Easter finery here, either. In fact, I have spent today in my Pyjamas. Is that bad?

I hope that your mum enjoyed the morning with the kids.

When Ashleigh was little she referred to ties as 'tails'

Am I imagining it or is JT suddenly looking more grown up. I mean I know he is wearing a tie but his face seems to be losing that little boy look.

I just love it when you do a Southern post too.

Their Easter finery was for church. Believe me, they'd never go for just hanging out in clothes that fancy. Abby might have agreed to the bloomers and the "princess" shoes.... but never the dress.

I'm not sure my son even knows what a tie is! I think J has one to go with his suit that gets trotted out to weddings or job interviews (been quite a while since either of those though).

Lovely pics :)
